An independent Law firm based in the City are recruiting for an HR Coordinator to join the team. Reporting into the HR Manager this role will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Being first point of contact for HR, fielding telephone calls and general email approaches, receiving enquiries and requests, handling accordingly or passing along when necessary
Maintaining the company's recruitment records for active vacancies, compiling job descriptions in conjunction with the wider business, briefing and liaising with agencies and managing the on-line placement of any vacancies and negotiating placement fees, arranging interviews and handling feedback/offer process.
Coordinating graduate application process including any online graduate management systems and coordinating assessment weeks and days
Preparing offer letters and contracts under supervision of HR Manager and ensuring all admin for new starters is conducted in a timely manner, collating new starter packs and managing company induction process
Coordinating seat rotations and mid/end of seat performance reviews for all Training Contracts along with handling course bookings etc.
Administering the probation process for all new starters, taking absence calls and following up
Ensuring all processes and records are logged and placing all relevant documentation on relevant files
Managing and undertaking assigned HR project work to timescales
As the HR Coordinator, you will possess:
Strong admin skills
Ability to liaise and work with employees at all levels
Strong communication skills both verbal and written with excellent attention to detail
A high level of confidentiality, reliability and honesty
Ability to prioritise and use own initiative within areas of responsibility
Flexible attitude to work and a willingness to meet unexpected deadlines and demands
High levels of competency and proficiency across MS Office
Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and thrive in a fast paced position whilst working under pressure
