Senior HR Advisor
Fixed Term Contract Senior HR Advisor opportunity until the end of Feb 2019, paying up to £41,000
Senior HR Advisor job in London. Fixed Term Contract job until February 2019. Candidates will be required to be on no more than a one week notice period. Any prior experience of working in the public sector or civil service will be hugely advantageous.
The role holder will be required to support the HR team and wider business through the provision of a full HR service to ensure the smooth running of the HR function. The role holder will be able to translate and interpret HR policies and procedures, providing appropriate advice and guidance when required.
You will be the main HR point of contact for 3 directorates and you will be responsible for delivering a proactive HR service by working closely with the business area to develop fit for purpose solutions to people related issues. This will include resource and structural requirements, recruitment, employee relations and learning and development.
In relation to recruitment, you will be responsible for the organisations' adherence to the civil service recruitment principles so any prior knowledge or experience working in this sector would be hugely beneficial . You will provide a high standard of project management to ensure the delivery of a professional recruitment service to meet capability needs and you will manage the annual recruitment audit.
Employee Relations work will not be high volume but there will be some long term sickness cases or grievance cases for you to manage. You will therefore need prior experience of managing casework from end to end.
