I am supporting a hugely exciting consumer goods business at the forefront of technology innovation in their field. You will be joining the business at an exciting time as the business has joined forces with a global leader as they continue to drive the business forward. You will sit on the EMEA Leadership team and work with the MD to drive the people agenda, whilst also working within a global matrix with a VP of HR based in the US. The role will be based in Watford with some travel across EMEA.
Operating across 16 countries you will support a primarily sales and marketing population of circa 300 staff with the support of a team of 3 in HR. You will provide a sounding board to the MD and the broader Leadership team on all things people, consistently challenging the status quo in the pursuit of excellence. The business has embarked on major change over the last 2 years and is now positioned for growth so the people strategy needs to reflect this. Having recently moved to a new fantastic purpose built site outside of London the organisation is looking to build this as their commercial hub for EMEA for both the workforce and clients. The role will encompass the full employee lifecycle however will play close attention to talent both from an acquisition/onboarding perspective and development. As the Leadership team continues to invest in cultivating a high performance culture and strong employee engagement. Whilst strategy is key, it will be important to get the fundamentals in place and so you will need to pay close attention to operations and the business interactions with HR.
In this role you will be confident challenging and coaching senior management. This role will suit an action orientated individual who enjoys both creating and executing. You will be a natural team player and will be able to demonstrate taking others on the journey as well as investing time in developing others. Experience of operating across multiple countries is key and whilst you may not have supported the same regions you will be able to demonstrate how you built this knowledge. Although not critical, given the international nature of this business an additional language would also be beneficial.
