HR Officer

Ashley Kate HR are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established education establishment who are looking to for an experienced HR Officer (ideally CIPD Qualified). This is a 10 month Maternity cover. Please note that this role will not commence until mid-September.

Your role will be to provide generalist support across the full HR range including Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training and Development.

You will partner with line managers offering a professional and pragmatic ER service across the whole business. You will guide managers through disciplinary and grievance procedures ensuring they operate within the relevant HR policy, as well as co-ordinating and driving forward any outstanding casework activity.

You will also contribute with the develop and implantation of new policies and procedures

This role will also support key operational and strategic HR work by providing advice to the highest professional standards

Essential experience

  • Experience within a similar role is essential.
  • CIPD level 5 qualified or higher.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of UK employment law.
  • HR Database experience is essential.
  • Experience of using SelectHR would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
