Can you manage the data that power our business decisions?
At BP we’re striving to meet growing global demand for safe, sustainable and affordable energy. That means creating a more efficient, streamlined business that makes the best possible use of all its resources, including human resources.
We’re evolving every part of our operation to transform the way people connect, work and make time to think. We’re modernizing and simplifying our team and data structures. And our Global HR Services team is at the heart of this new way of working. A global shared services organization, we are the first point of contact for policy and process enquiries. We’re also dedicated to delivering the best possible customer experience.
About the opportunity
Our modernised HR systems depend on the ability to maintain complex organization structures and to share large volumes of high quality data, which is constantly being re-assessed and updated. You’ll ensure the integrity of our Workday organization structure data. This includes processing large-scale or complex reorganizations and mass data uploads, as well as providing advice and support to HR and the wider business around their reorganizations. However, this role is about more than just managing data; you’ll also develop skills in reporting and analytics – drawing insights from data to make a contribution to wider business decision-making.
You’ll have a strong technical focus, and experience of using HR Capital Management systems such as Workday is essential. However, the ability to analyse and present data generated by the system is also vital. An awareness of risk and how to manage it in relation to the system is important.
You’ll be dedicated to excellent customer service, including the ability to communicate well and build relationships across the business. Well organised and able to work independently, as well as in a team, you’ll have keen commercial awareness and a focus on achieving practical solutions.
Keep advancing your career as you help our business meet the challenges of the future.
