Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with a leading fashion retail brand who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis. The organisation has over 330 outlets in over 20 countries as well as a large online presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a HR team who are market leading and extremely forward thinking. The role will be based in the head office in Central London however will cover the retail population. The role will report into the HR Director and cover operional and strategic HR responsibilities.
Oversee the day to day operation of the HR Department.
Work closely with the HR and Centres of Excellence to develop and deliver the retail people strategy for the brand.
Coach AMs on people strategies including remote updates.
Support AMs through with re-organisations and closure processes.
Shared line manager responsibilities for HR Assistant and HR Officer including responsibility for performance, development and progression.
Attend and present at Area and Retail meetings when required on HR strategy, employment law updates and any other key HR/Development activity.
Working with other brand HR and Central teams, to contribute to Group retail HR planning and projects. Attend meetings and collate brand information as required.
Support the flagship and Top stores with People strategy, working closely with the General Store Manager for OC.
Oversee internal talent management and support the internal talent team in hiring the right people for our business.
Introducing recognition and engagement frameworks/ initiatives that align with business performance.
Provide regular feedback and trend analysis to the HR Director and Miss Selfridge Senior Leadership team
To be successful for this position you should have experience working in a similar pacey, commercial retail organisation within a HR Manager or Business Partner role. You should have a strong ability to influence, challenge and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders. You should be able to respond under pressure and display sound business knowledge.
