We are partnering with a globally recognised brand on a new Senior Business Partner role. Based in Cambridge but with regular travel to other sites. This individual will be instrumental in driving the People strategy for the UK and will also be the HR support to the Cambridge site and to EU territories.
You will be focused on building a high performing culture and focus on the engagement across the business. You will need to support European peers and UK Line managers in building line management skills, provide support and coaching and deliver proactive and effective solutions to people challenges.
You will need to work closely with the Resourcing Manager and work across processes that enable targeted acquisition of talent as well as developing effective working relationships and influencing the senior teams on their people plans.
You will have direct line management for 2 Business Partner and so you must have a proven management background.
Working within the retail market it is essential that you have a background in fast paced, commercially focused industry and you must have experience of partnering with the key business stakeholder.
Senior HR Business Partner - the Person.
·You must have excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
·You will need to be resilient, and be able to challenge in a constructive way across all levels of business.
·You will need to have a high level of computer literacy and have advanced excel knowledge.
·Sound knowledge and practical application of current UK Employment Law is absolutely key.
·Ideally you will have worked with EU partners and stakeholders.
