A best in class London based commercial, private sector consultancy firm specialising in niche markets are looking for an internal Head of Learning & Development to lead their internal training offering. They specialise within a variety of interesting industries and are a leading name within their sector. This is a new role due to growth within the organisation and a great opportunity for someone to progress their career whilst enhancing the career of others and facilitating the continued growth of the organisation.
Your new role
This role is crucial to the business and you will be leading a London based team of five trainers, you will also be hands on and passionate about delivery whilst ensuring the training is designed well and whilst also designing rolling out the L&D strategy for the business. You will improve the induction programme as well as the training curriculum for new and experienced hires. You will also look at the offering for existing employees, identifying skills gaps and designing the training to provide well-rounded development for this group. Training trainers and managers is also high on the agenda and you will be responsible for ensuring the leadership population have the appropriate skills and tools to carry out their role effectively as well as the implementation of succession plan training to enable development and internal hiring and promotions within the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need L&D Management experience within a successful private sector organisation. You will have a real passion for people and learning and enjoy delivery whilst also having a design and strategic focus. You will be confident and experienced in the management of a training team and have designed and rolled out training strategies and curriculum's in this capacity. You will have trained and managed at all levels and be skilled in working with new hires, managers and the senior management population to provide them with the training and skills needed to achieve exceptional results.
What you'll get in return
Working within their stunning London based HQ, you will receive a salary of £52,000 - £60,000 depending up experience, great benefits and an inclusive working environment.
