HR Administration Manager

My client is an international commercial organisation based in Dorking.
Your new role
This role will act as a right hand person to the Head of HR and will line manage the HR operations team in Dorking, which consist of a team of 5. You will drive key deliverables within the HR services team. Managing and prioritisation of workload between the team. This role would suit a strong people manage who is used to managing teams, someone that is able to allocate workloads and essentially role up their sleeves to the day to day operational work and find solutions to escalated queries. This role will also be the manager of data with the team and be the "go to" person who proactively seeks to drive the team forward.
This role will;
Own the reporting of and process compliance with HR policy and procedure, HR systems experience is essential including process mapping and the ability to build reports.
Maintain legal compliance of the HR function e.g. data protection, policy, employment law changes, in conjunction with the Head of HR and HR management team.
Own functions allocated to the HR operations team namely learning administration, HR administration, recruitment administration, pay and benefits administration, HR Systems.
Partner with management and leadership in the organisation to continually evolve and improve the transactional and operational services provided by the HR Operations team.
Lead the transformation of transactional HR services to the organisation to meet to needs identified in the in-year and 5 year business plan.
Operations team - To line manage, coach and develop the HR Operations team
HR Policy and Procedure - To co-own the creation and adherence to HR policies set and agreed by the organisation. Owning the updating of changes when required by statute or business change.
HR Systems - To co-own the HR systems strategy with the Head of HR. Ensuring that system is maintained functioning and is developed and improved to continually reduce need for multiple inputs of data and where possible data is reported out of the system.
Employment law - maintains personal and team knowledge of the legal requirements of processes that the HR operations team offers including payroll and tax legislation relevant.
Data Protection - to ensure that all activities in the HR operations team comply with current data protection legislation.

HR Management experience essential
Experienced User of Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint essential
Management information and reporting experience
HR Systems expertise
Demonstrated people management experience
System admin experience
Building reports in Crystal and Excel
What you'll get in return
A base salary of £45,000 - £55,000
