HR Generalist/HR Business Partner

£38,000 - £45,000

3-6 month temp role



My client are a global biotechnology and agriculture business based in Berkshire. Due to an extremely busy time and some movement within the HR team, they require an interim HR generalist to join them for 3-6 months. This role has the possibility to go permanent. The role will be reporting into the senior HR business partner, and you will be required to travel to different sites as and when.

Duties include:

  • Operational support for all HR disciplinaries; workforce planning, performance management, talent management, people development

  • Provide HR advice, ensuring people activities and processes are managed in line with policies and regulations

  • Champion the business culture and values, ensuring the right leadership behaviours are in place

  • Ensure effective delivery of HR operations

  • Provide regular training and support

  • Support the business on HR related projects including organisational change projects

  • Provide onsite support approximately twice a month

  • Produce reports and dashboards for HR BP's and leaders

  • Be accountable for right to work checks


  • Ideally previous advisory or business partnering level experience

  • Good UK employment law knowledge

  • Confidence in ability to push back on senior stakeholders

  • Ability to coach managers, and conduct training

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes

  • Clean driving license

This role is due to start by mid-August, therefore, you must be available immediately if not on short notice.
