At Essex County Council, we are embarking on a journey to review and consider replacement of our HR technology. We would like you to use your vast expertise to gather, critically evaluate and prioritise information, turning that into business cases, and see projects through to delivery. Collaborating across other departments, including information systems, you will find the best possible solutions for our workforce to increase efficiency, productivity & performance.
Joining us as HR & OD Lead for people technology, you will understand our evolving workforce related technology needs, along with a strong interest in employment processes. You will translate that into a robust set of requirements, enabling a strong procurement process that gets the right fit technology solutions into place, ultimately delivering an outstanding user experience and functional performance. Knowledge, skills and experience
Along with a relevant degree in a technology related field and with a good understanding of HR systems requirements building, you will be able to show us where you have previously built a people technology strategy and end to end delivery of a HRIS or similar. You will have prior experience of systems analysis, building requirements, IT procurement processes and implementation. You will also recognise the stages and phases of project and programme management. Agile and flexible, you are an analytical problem solver with the tenacity and resilience to see through change and influence others. A strong leader, you explore imaginative solutions and see the value in drawing insight from experience as well as the perspective of others. This role will work across the
Organisation Development & People function, as well as the rest of the organisation and will draw on specialist knowledge of others, particularly employment processes, employee experience and continuous improvement.
