The opportunity

Joining the People Business Partnering and Employment Practice team, you’ll support the delivery of workforce and people strategy initiatives across a range of areas. Using a consultancy approach, you will work under the direction of the People Business Partners. You’ll use your expert knowledge of HR to support and advise, from Senior Leaders to managers, on organisational change projects, managing complex employment cases and the implementation of workforce strategy initiatives. You’ll also coach leaders and managers on dealing with these cases and on projects including redesign, redundancy and TUPE, to develop their skill sets and increase their confidence in managing others. Contributing to information and insight gathering, planning and delivery, you’ll help to add value to the business and deliver on shared targets.

Knowledge, skills and experience

About You

Qualified at MCIPD level or working towards this, you’ll be able to demonstrate commitment to your own professional development. You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong and influential relationships with stakeholders. With a working knowledge of planning and managing change programmes, you’ll have a keen eye for identifying risks and understand how to mitigate them. You will have a broad understanding of employee relations and how to design and develop people activities to improve performance. You seek new opportunities, look for ideas and feedback from customers and are driven by a desire for continuous improvement.
