A leading Law Firm based in South West London are recruiting for an HR Assistant to join their team. As the HR Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Recruitment - maintaining the firm's recruitment systems, setting up interviews and liaising with agencies, booking in meeting rooms and chasing feedback etc.
Onboarding - preparing all offer letters and contracts of employment liaising with HR Managers where necessary, ensuring all admin for new starters is conducted in good time before start dates
Employee Lifecycle - administering probation process for all new starters to the firm including the production of reminders/meetings, following up on sickness leave, to complete self-certification forms, working with HR Advisors, providing admin support as needed around the arrangements for employees who are taking maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and sick leave to ensure the firm's policies are adhered to.
Providing ad hoc admin support to the HR team in relation to disciplinary, grievance or other employee relations issues including note taking, booking rooms, assisting with correspondence etc.
Responding to daily alerts as necessary
Making changes to holiday records upon request and making sure they are accurately maintained
Taking absence calls and following up as necessary and organising float PA cover
Answering telephones and dealing with internal and external queries
Booking travel for HR Director and HR Managers
Ad hoc project work
As the HR Assistant, you will possess:
6-12 months of office/ admin experience
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
