Description
The Learning & Development Manager will have the following duties:
- Compile the annual training plan for the organisation, utilising training needs from annual performance reviews as well as other business priorities to ensure resources are allocated effectively
- Manage the training budget
- Manage relationships with training providers to monitor effectiveness for the business
- Drive and co-ordinate the Group's mentoring programme
- Take responsibility for managing, updating and developing the LMS system
- Design and deliver E-Learning Models to meet company needs where appropriate
- Develop and drive new training initiatives aligned to business needs
- Manage and review the organisation's Management Development programmes, including programmes for senior directors
- Help the wider HR team design, develop and deliver HR workshops such as recruitment, performance management, terms & conditions etc
- Carry out all training administration tasks, ensuring a smooth running of the department
Profile
We're looking for a Learning & Development Manager with the following capabilities
- At least 5 years' experience in a training & development role, with a strong commercial focus
- Robust knowledge of training and development theories and practical application
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Budget management experience
- Project management skills
- Experience in coaching
- Knowledge of psychometric testing is desirable
- Strong organisational skills
Job Offer
6-9 Month Contract, Salary £40-50k dependent on experience
