18 month contract job available for a specialist HR candidate for a policy delivery leader

We are looking to recruit for a well known global public sector organisation who have a presence in Manchester.
Your new role
The position is a newly created position and a specialist position that will be supporting a number of different departments and key stakeholders across the business. The organisation are going through a period of change and are looking for an experience person to support them with their change plan and improve the service they offer to the public. As part of their improvement plan, they are looking at reviewing the ways in which appropriate checks are being carried out for employees who work for the organisation in line with all their policies and procedures. The board have the new strategy and they are now moving to implementation stage phase. You will be working to support the Project Manager and will be responsible for the new policy development ensuring alignment with related compliance policies and governance.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies into large/complex organisations preferably on an international basis
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation & governance/regulatory requirements
Experience in leading substantial HR change projects
Experience from an HR background and are passionate about policies and compliance or you might be a project manager with relevant experience.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an 18 month contract with a recognisable pub sector organisation paying up to £45k. You will be offered a package with 32 days holiday + 20% pension plus additional benefits.
