A specialist law firm who over the last twenty-five years has been involved in ground-breaking cases are looking to expand their HR team and bring on board a Recruitment Manager. Over the last 18 months they have been working to expand and develop the HR function to respond to the firm's growing needs and deliver a high quality of service. to all the Partners and staff.
Overall purpose for this role
Provide an excellent quality recruitment service to the Partnership at every stage of the recruitment process.
Responsible for coordinating and assisting with legal and business service hires.
Work as a collaborative and effective team member and provide a professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Main duties and responsibilities
Responsibility for end-to-end recruitment (i.e. draft and develop job descriptions, release adverts on company website and job boards, shortlist, liaise with agencies, manage communication with applicants, coordinate interviews, make offers and provide feedback).
Ensure adherence to interview processes and procedures to ensure consistency.
Work with the HR Manager to develop direct sourcing channels and recruiting strategies, identify the most appropriate sourcing channels to attract the best talent
Identify recruitment agencies and job boards and negotiate terms to ensure they are aligned with current market rates.
Ensure all terms and conditions with recruitment agencies are duly updated and periodically reviewed.
Generate monthly, quarterly and annual recruitment statistics for reports.
Prepare offer email and arrange for these to be signed.
Process and reconcile invoices for recruitment costs/fees.
Book agency temp cover / locum process for legal administrative support and junior fee earners.
Provide input to build efficiencies, develop and enhance the recruitment processes.
Manage internal processes i.e. update various trackers (vacancy, agency, advertising, temp, etc.); oversee archiving of recruitment files to ensure compliance with data protection and various other tasks.
Assist on ad hoc recruitment project work as and when required.
Any other duties and responsibilities relevant to the role.
As a member of the HR team, the post holder may be required to provide support to generalist HR activities from time to time.
Previous experience from either an agency environment or a similar busy recruitment in-house role; professional services experience desirable but not essential.
Relevant experience in full end to end recruitment lifecycle activities.
