A professional services firm in the Midlands are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team. You can be based from Nottingham, or Birmingham 3 days/Notts 2 days.

This is a successful, and growing, organisation with offices across the UK. They have seen significant growth over the last 5 years and there are future plans which will mean their HR department will have input into significant projects to support these changes.

Aligned to two business areas with a head count of c.500, you will fulfil a true business partner role and deliver on key elements of the people strategy. Part of your initial focus will be to build on management capability but also to be pro-active in leading the HR agenda. You will be a creative 'ideas' person, with fantastic listening skills, who can sensitively build long-term relationships with the stakeholders in this business. You will have direct line management responsibility for one HR Advisor and be able to coach and guide in an aspirational manner.

We are looking for:

  • CIPD qualification

  • Experience within professional services sector organisations or similar, such as: Law, Accountancy, Tech/Media, Financial Services

  • Experience in a HR Business Partner role/s, where you have delivered elements of the HR strategy (not a HR generalist role) and worked closely with key stakeholders/clients

  • Able to create and articulate ideas, and follow these through in a pro-active manner

  • Experience of end to end project management

  • Excellent communication skills
