Senior HR Advisor

Our client is a highly respected central London Property Investment and Development company. They are recruiting for a HR Advisor to support the Head of HR. The role is focused on providing comprehensive HR guidance and support to employees and managers and delivering an efficient and effective HR service. The role is a full generalist position covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including, recruitment and induction, operational HR duties, employee relations, training and development as well as contributing to HR projects.

The firm is a professional and intellectually challenging environment where people have a keen eye for detail. As a result, the role demands outstanding organisation skills and the ability to handle a large and varied generalist HR workload good situational analysis and judgement and very articulate. The role will therefore suit a dynamic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role holder will be able to build relationships quickly, be self-directed and able to use their own initiative to progress tasks/activities and have a service delivery mind-set. They will be fully CIPD qualified and have experience working at HR Advisor level (or equivalent).

Person Specification

Likely background/experience:

CIPD qualified

Good working knowledge of employment law

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in HR, 2 years of which at HR Advisor (or equivalent) level with experience working on;

  • Contracts/terms of employment

  • Recruitment

  • Performance management

  • Health and attendance

  • Employee Relations - management of formal processes

  • Adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Experience to have been gained working in a commercial organisation, preferably with some SME experience

  • Experience of working with a technical/professional workforce
