Junior Recruiter

A leading global City based Bank are looking to bring onboard a Junior Recruiter! A large proportion of the duties revolve around proactively sourcing talent using LinkedIn and other job board CV searches. The outcome being to provide long lists of candidates to the Technology Recruitment Business Partnering team for each of their roles.

Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering

  • Support the Lead Recruitment Business Partner in providing a seamless, service driven experience for the hiring managers where quality of hire and time to hire are paramount with cost savings being a secondary but important objective.

  • Support Lead Recruitment Business Partner in identifying person specification for vacancies and provide detailed guidance and feedback on job descriptions.

Candidate Attraction and Resourcing

  • Source potential and develop a continual pipeline of candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building.

  • Develop a 'long list' of candidates for each role, providing the Senior Recruitment BP with 15-30 'potential' candidates to take forward.

  • Utilise CV search functions from a variety of job boards.

  • Prequalify potential candidates to determine their qualifications through profiling, psychometric assessments and behavioral based interviewing.

  • Articulate and sell the Bank value proposition to candidates via networking events, professional networks and face to face candidate interaction.

  • Generate both internal and external candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging.

  • Assist the Recruitment Business Partnering team with their duties and administration where appropriate.

  • Arranging interviews and handling diary management for candidates that are directly sourced

  • Build, develop and maintain in-house candidate database

  • Report on all analytics gained from recruitment systems or external sites e.g. Linkedin.

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to


  • Proven recruitment resourcing experience from a recruitment agency background.

  • Ability to articulate and understand the specific role requirements.

  • Demonstrable telephone interview experience.

  • Significant research and candidate generation experience.

  • Familiarity with current sourcing techniques and ability to remain current with developing methods, alongside the ability to manage multiple searches with varying priorities.

  • Experience of working to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality.


  • Recruitment experience from within executive search, technology or change.
