HR Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic global client within the Technology Space, based in Chertsey, for a HR Advisor on an ongoing temporary basis.

They are looking for someone who is positive, proactive and able to thrive in a busy working environment that's constantly changing and adapting; great customer experience, a willingness to learn and improve processes and a passion for data, ER and will be reporting directly to the Head of Business Partnering.

Responsibilities include:

  • First line support to managers and employees on all queries and low level employee relations issues

  • Conducting all exit interviews

  • Lead the end to end family friendly processes, meeting with employees and advising them on queries and relevant legislation working

  • Support the team with business change programmes such as re-organisations, consultations and running consultation processes where appropriate.

  • Providing advice on disciplinary and grievance investigations, note taking at appeal hearings

  • Dealing with absence queries, advising Managers on long term absence issues and conducting return to work interviews

  • Manage flexible working requests and take notes at appeal hearings

  • Compiling employee data for L&D Activities and liaise with L&D team as required

  • Compile and analyse reports and create ad-hoc reports as required

  • Assist team with the completion of job descriptions and benchmarking,

Required skills include:

  • Solid experience at an HR Advisor level

  • A CIPD qualification

  • Experience working within a busy, fast paced environment managing multiple tasks at once

  • A passion for being an Advisor

  • Can demonstrate drive, resilience and flexibility with constantly changing priorities

  • Warm, personable and happy to help in any way they can

  • Flexibility to travel on occasion

  • Can understand and interpret language with regard to policy and contracts, and has the ability to communicate this to others effectively

  • Has a proactive, can do attitude,

  • Has a desire to develop and grow in an HR role over time
