HR Manager

My client is a law firm who are market leaders in their specialist areas and they are looking for an HR Manager for their London team. You will take a lead role in managing and delivering the firms' recruitment strategy. This can be as much as 170 new hires per year which are due to the firms steady growth as well as the natural coming and going of paralegals.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the firms recruitment program - including permanent and temporary hires
  • Management of the firms graduate and trainee recruitment programs
  • Work with senior stakeholders of the firm to understand and deliver their recruitment needs
  • Manage and supervise two recruitment advisors
  • Maintain and build relationships with external agencies
  • Manage a recruitment budget effectively
  • Develop and maintain the firms brand awareness for potential employees
  • Manage and update recruitment documentation
  • Liaise with the wider HR team to ensure the smooth transition of new joiners

Requirements:

  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment preferred
  • Management of a graduate recruitment programme ideal
  • Good academic background with CIPD qualifications
  • Experience building rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Resilient character and ability to work at pace
  • A keen interest in the legal space and specialist service the firm provides
