HR Officer

HR Officer required to cover a maternity leave for 12 months in Aberdeen city centre.

Your new company
HR Officer for a 12 months fixed term contract for a well known services organisation to the Offshore market.

Your new role
As HR Officer you will work alongside other HR Officers owning a number of vessels and having HR responsibility for all staff on your vessels, this will include recruitment, transfer and promotion of employees, onboarding of new employees ensuring the individual is qualified and has the right certificates of qualification. You will also be responsible for managing sickness and absence as well as managing grievances and disciplinaries.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this job you will have previous experience in an HR generalist role. You must have experience in the marine industry with specific experience dealing with offshore crewing and have an understanding of the qualifications required. You must also be able to deal with multiple tasks at once and work in a busy HR environment.

What you'll get in return
You will get the opportunity to manage a group of your own vessels and manage all HR activity for your employees. This organisation are based in Aberdeen city centre with onsite parking available. You will work 37.5 hours per week however the client would be open to an individual who would require part time (minimum of 30 hours per week) This job is paying circa £27,000 depending on experience.
