The HR Manager will cover a West coast patch centred around Oban. You'll have hands on ER cases to manager, and project work to lead.
A business with sites around the West Coast, including the islands, right down to Glasgow.
The HR Manager will work as part of the wider HR team to manage an ER case load. You'll work with the unions to manage disciplines and grievances from investigation to dismissal where necessary.
You'll work closely with the business leaders for your West-coast patch to contribute to projects, including some TUPE and restructures.
By building strong relationships with managers you will contribute to the profitability of the business, and drive the people strategy.
Your key stakeholders run the West coast patch from the Outer Hebrides right through to Glasgow.
Strong experience of handling ER cases in a unionised environment.
Excellent influence and stakeholder manager skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Good time management and prioritisation.
Up to date employment law knowledge.
Prior success leading on HR Projects, including TUPE and restructures.
Ability to travel around the West coast of Scotland, from Glasgow to the Outer Hebrides, with a base in Oban.
