We're currently working on an opportunity for an experienced HRBP to join an insurance firm based in Hertfordshire. This role will look after two business areas with very varied stakeholders in terms of demands and approach.

*Please note that there will be travel 1-2 times per week to Norwich, this is due to one of the stakeholders being based here. Therefore, drivers are preferred!

As a strategic partner to leadership teams you will provide a proactive and hands on service including project management, M&A activity, workforce planning, etc. More specific responsibilities will include:

  • Working with business leaders to drive the people strategy, shaping priorities and activities in line with business needs

  • Strategic HR activities such as assessing impact on employees during change, analysing MI and so on

  • Work with the Operational HR team on execution of transformational work and BAU

  • Inspire business leaders to deliver HR transformation, creating a high-performance culture

  • Coach leaders on engagement strategies

  • Lead on all key HR projects

  • Support and influence positive labour relations

  • Manage multi-site delivery of TUPE and redundancy schedules

Candidates suitable for this position will:

  • Have previously worked as an HRBP in a regulated environment

  • Have extensive experience leading on projects

  • Be comfortable managing acquisitions, TUPE's, redundancies

  • Consider themselves a strategic HR partner and be confident advising senior leaders (Head of department)

  • Live a commutable distance (in Hertfordshire) and be willing to travel to Norwich weekly
