NEW ROLE - Employee Relations Specialist based in Birmingham
Your new role
The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for leading complex and high profile ER cases, as well as acting as a point of escalation to other people in the HR team. The postholder will also manage settlement agreements and lead employee tribunal cases. Additional responsibilities will include managing restructuring programmes and leading the implementation of changes to working practices in the business. The role will include extensive consultation and negotiation with unions (local and regional level) and collective bargaining.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced senior HR or ER business partner/manager with expert employee relations experience. You will be able to demonstrate strong experience of managing complex cases to tribunal level and settle agreements. It is essential that you have very strong trade union experience (to regional level as a minimum) and have lead collective bargaining agreements. You will be able to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 plus excellent benefits.
