The Open University is the UK’s leading learning institution with over 170,000 students.  People of all ages and backgrounds study with the Open University; its mission is to be open to people, places, methods and ideas.

At a time of significant change at the University, we are currently recruiting a number of exciting new opportunities within our HR department.  HR has recently formed three new Areas of Expertise to support our HR Delivery function; Reward, Benefits and Performance, Talent and Development and Strategic HR (Employee Relations & Engagement).  If you are looking for a new opportunity to work within relatively new areas of expertise during a period of significant change and are motivated by a values driven culture, then one of these roles could be what you are looking for.

Our newly established Reward, Benefits and Performance Area of Expertise is expanding and we are searching for a Reward, Benefits and Performance Adviser.

In this interesting, varied and hands on role, you will support the implementation of a revitalised reward, benefits and performance strategy and play an active role in ensuring adoption of best practice across the organisation.  You should have excellent analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise and the ability to interpret data from a variety of internal and external sources as well as provide insight and make recommendations.  With excellent written and oral communication skills, you will be able to present clear, well-structured reports and briefs with logical, well-balanced and reasoned recommendations. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a complex organisation.

This role would suit an individual who is currently working in an HR analytical and/or a reward and benefits role and is looking to widen their experience within a different sector or looking to develop their HR experience into the Reward and Benefits area.
