A lifestyle and development organisation operating throughout the UK. Due to continued development, a Regional HR Advisor is required to support the southern business group based in Woking.

Your new role
Reporting into the Regional HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering a full functional advisory service to ensure effective and efficient support is given to staff throughout the south. This role will be based in Woking 3 days per week and in other offices for 2 days.

Primary Job Purpose

Represent HR within the business, at all times providing a high level of customer service;
Support the business as appropriate on HR related projects including organisational change projects;
Support a stable and coordinated approach to the employee relations environment across the whole business, whereby employee relations matters are approached in a consistent, proactive and professional manner;
Work with the HR team and managers in the business to develop and maintain an organisational culture that supports the achievement of business goals and development of behaviours that uphold Company values;
Ensure that all activities and tasks related to management of people within the business are dealt with in a timely and professional manner

Key Responsibilities


Recruitment

Manage and advise on recruitment and selection within the South Division, ensuring recruitment is dealt with in an effective and efficient manner
Advise on and take part in selection processes as agreed with Divisional HRBP
Gather and analyse benchmark data internally and externally for specific remuneration packages as and when required.

Employee Relations and HR Advice

Provide HR advice and support on HR issues such as effective resolution of Employee Relations matters, for example taking part in investigations and disciplinary/ grievance meetings as required
Manage a caseload of ER issues and support the Divisional HR Business Partner with management of more complex ER issues as required.
Work with line managers to ensure compliance with organisation policies, Employee Guide and employment and other relevant legislation such as the Data Protection Act, and Health & Safety.
Advise and support line managers with performance management issues
Contribute effectively to the discussion and development of Policies and Procedures, etc

Employee Engagement and HR Projects

To work with the Divisional HR Business Partner and the Regional Management Teams to support implementation of plans for improvements to employee engagement.
Participate and support project work as and when required as agreed with the Divisional HR Business Partner
Support the co-ordination of HR Policies and Training across the Division such as Development Reviews, Management Development Programmes etc.


What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally live in the Surrey area, as this is central to the region and near to core offices. You will be flexible in your work pattern and be able to autonomously manage your own diary to best support your client group. Previous experience in a region role is preferred but not required. You will be based in Woking 3 days per week and in other offices 2 days per week.
