My client, a well-established and a profound events company in London are currently seeking an analytical HR Manager to join the team at a real time of growth.

The primary focus of this role is to drive day to day HR operational activity so that KPIs and HR services are delivered in a highly efficient and effective manner. The role will work closely with the Head of HR to develop and implement the HR Strategy and ensure that all HR activity is integrated.


  1. Supporting HR Strategy Development & Driving Projects

Support the Head of HR in developing strategies to enhance the employee experience at whilst supporting the business' long-term strategy. Identify and develop new ways of approaching L&D, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Recruitment challenges underpinned by ways of working.

The role will be personally responsible for implementing projects to support the HR strategy. Completion of projects to deadlines despite day to day activity is a high priority for this role. The role will also be responsible for overseeing ongoing project work distributed to the HR team and escalating any concerns to the Head of HR.

  1. HR Analysis & Reporting

The role will assist the Head of HR in the continual development and improvement of HR reporting and analytics. This will be aimed at providing business information that can assist in decisions relating to organisation development/ design, and employee engagement. Confident and efficient at developing spreadsheets pulling on a variety of data sources with accuracy.

  1. Payroll

The role will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely execution of a monthly payroll for 200 people via an outsourced payroll bureau (APS) with operational support from the HR Assistant. The role will act as a point of escalation for payroll related issues.

  1. Employee Relations

Act as a direct line of support on Employee Relations issues, providing advice on complex cases, handling appeals of disciplinaries/grievances/flexible working applications and all other employment matters as necessary. Ensuring the company complies with all applicable rules and regulations governing employee relations.

Recruitment & Development

Assist in implementing strategies and procedures to attract, hire, and retain personnel. The role will be responsible for a number of hires throughout the year. Oversee the performance management process to ensure effective objectives have been set for all appropriate staff. Support managers with the internal process as required.

  1. Compensation & Benefits

Provide guidance to managers and HR team on appropriate levels of remuneration, ensuring equity at all levels whilst considering budgetary limitations. Maintain and enhance the benchmarking framework and work with managers to ensure approach to remuneration supports the goal of staff retention. Identify and implement initiatives to improve Gender Pay Gap and other diversity indicators. Oversee employee benefits administration.

The ideal candidate will have advanced ER Experience, able to demonstrate experience of managing TUPE, redundancies and providing advice on Settlement Agreements/ Pre-termination Negotiations. You MUST be able to use Microsoft Office to an advanced level, highly proficient user of Excel.
