Role: HR Business Partner

My client is a rapidly growing and highly successful Media company, specialising in the Financial Services sector. They are looking for a dynamic and highly capable HR Business Partner to join their London office in a standalone capacity. They are a global business who are extremely well integrated, so you must have the capability to work well across the different countries and with other HR teams. This is a highly generalist HR Business Partner role so experience is a must!
Promoting and improving company culture by building trust across the business with employees, Managers and leadership team
Conducting talent mapping with Managers
Ensuring company policies and procedures are updated and accurate, as well as the employee handbook
Improving and administering the company appraisal system and performance management
Managing the company benefits, assisting with the negotiation and being a point of contact for queries
Coach Management on performance including absence management
Work with People Operations assistant to ensure people information in the HCM system is up to date and accurate
Provide guidance around internal promotions, salary adjustments, retention issues and learning and development activities
Support the implementation of frameworks and tools to ensure effective execution of the people team projects
Partner with managers across the agency on people team communications, organizational issues, changes and activities
Provide relevant employee data to the people team, and agency to make pro-active people decisions that drive organizational performance
You must have the capability to work closely with senior leadership and be able to challenge and push back when needed. They pride themselves on their ethos that everyone at all levels should have a voice and it is a very flat structured business. Experience in a standalone role would be advantageous as well as from a media, technology or financial services background.
This is a roll up your sleeves kind of business, so someone who isn't precious to cover the transactional day to day elements of a role is important. They are looking for someone who wants longevity in a role and can stay and grow with the business.
