The client, a large Housing association based in Central London, are looking for a dynamic HR Manager to join the business on a FTC basis until December 2019. This position will support the care and support business directorate and report into the HR Operations Manager. Within this role you will have 3 HR Advisors reporting into and supporting the HR delivery. The main purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and quality HR advisory service covering the full HR lifecycle. You will work within an organisation who recently have joined forces with another housing association and are going through a period of integration. You she be happy to work within a changing, fast paced and high energy environment and thrive on bringing a positive outlook to managing change.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
To manage a small team of HR Advisors to provide the full HR service
To work in partnership with the senior managers on all change management initiatives and processes including: new contracts commencing, contracts ending, TUPE, restructures including consultations, redundancies, from beginning to end
Support the HR Operations Manager to work with senior managers on business/service reviews
Working in an environment that is ambiguous, highly complex with frequent changes
Enable managers to develop and maintain effective communication and consultation with staff both formally and informally, to foster positive working relationships
Support HR Advisors and lead where necessary on complex ER cases
With support of the HR Operations Manager lead on ET cases working with our employment law providers where appropriate including settlement agreements
Working closely with the specialist HR services, HR Advisors and line managers in your business area to ensure a consistent and joined-up working approach
To coach and support managers at all levels to build capability, manage risk and compliance
Lead, manage, contribute and support on project work and initiatives in line with HR strategy
Liaise with HR Shared Services Manager to oversee HR administration and compliance is delivered efficiently and process are accurate and timely within your business area
Support the business with workforce planning to ensure total headcount is managed within budget. Model resourcing patterns and work with managers to ensure workforce optimisation.
Ensure that HR reports and metrics are analysed for trends and ensure that HR Advisors action or advise managers accordingly including recruitment, temp usage, exit interviews, absence and ER case and support managers to manage their establishment
To be successful for this position you should have previous experience working within a senior HR position and be effective at stakeholder and relationship management. You should have experience leading change management, TUPE, restructures, redundancies and ER. You should be influential, credible and have excellent attention to detail.
