My client are a global digital transformation firm based in the West-end of London. They require a HR business partner to join them for 12 months on a maternity cover contract. This role would be ideal for someone looking to take a step up into a Business Partner position.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with wider HR team (global mobility/reward/recruitment) when necessary

  • Use HR insight (evidence, data, anecdote) to influence change initiatives at a tactical level

  • Support managers with employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and redundancy

  • Support managers in the delivery of major change initiatives, identifying and managing risk whilst effectively consulting and informing key stakeholders

  • Work with the wider HRBP team to ensure the effective development of HR policies and practices to meet business needs

  • Working with line managers and HRBP colleagues you will implement the project plans

  • Support the effective implementation of "business as usual" (e.g. performance and reward cycle, employee survey, talent and succession process) by working with line managers to ensure they're clear and confident in their own responsibilities and deliverables

  • Direct managers to the most appropriate source of advice, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how to access appropriate HR Service within business model

  • Support the wider team providing information as required to provide seamless transactional support to the functions with regards to recruitment, onboarding, promotions and staff exits

Key skills/experience:

  • Good knowledge of UK employment law (French/German is desirable)

  • Previous senior HR advisor experience/junior business partner

  • Ideally come from professional service or technology background

  • Ability to work with and manage senior stakeholders

  • Enjoy working within a matrix environment

  • Good operational HR experience

This role is a contract, however, the client will consider someone on a notice period.
