My client, an innovative not-for-profit venture with a strong creative bias now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to lead their HR function. This position is to cover maternity leave starting ASAP until January 2019
Working in this fast-paced and continually changing organisation, as HR Manager you will oversee and manage the provision of a comprehensive HR service. In addition to maintaining and updating all people policies, procedures, systems and processes and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day HR function, you'll support the creation of a high performing culture through the development and implementation of all people related areas including Employee relations issues, Recruitment and selection, Performance Management, Training and Development, Management Information and much more!
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will have:
Previous experience as a stand-alone HR generalist at manager level, overseeing a small HR function within an organisation experiencing significant growth and change.
A proven record of successfully driving and managing cultural change.
Experience of developing and implementing policies that are legally compliant and aligned to organisational culture and values.
Experience of reviewing organisational structures and roles, creating robust proposals with clear and practical implementation processes.
A good understanding of TUPE.
Experience in HR Process design, implementation and continuous improvement.
Experience of designing and implementing employee engagement surveys, creating and implementing action plans that have successfully addressed issues.
Designed and implemented practical, simple and effective performance management systems.
Sound knowledge of employment law, with proven ability to apply in a practical way.
Experience of overseeing an outsourced payroll provision.
Although formal qualification is not essential, you will need to already be operating at the equivalent level of CIPD qualified.
