HR Business Partner - Banking

My client is a global banking and financial services provider. They now have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join their established HR function. The purpose of the role is to support the relevant business area and client group with informed and professional HR Advice and guidance.

Overall purpose of role is to develop and deliver projects and cyclical HR activities in a consistent and effective manner. These projects and activities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reward

  • Performance Management and Development

  • Resourcing

  • Talent and Succession Planning

  • Employee Relations and Change

  • HR Transformation

  • HR related queries

Key Accountabilities

  • Supporting Client Aligned HRBPs to deliver projects that embed the People Plans

  • Supporting Client Aligned HRBPs and the Client Experience Relationship Managers to execute the HR cyclical processes

  • Streamline and standardize products and drive consistent offerings across the different client groups

  • Acting as the point of contact for HR related queries and identifying ways to automate and streamline HR support to employees and line managers

  • Partnering with HR Operations and Centres of Excellence colleagues to deliver a seamless HR service to COO & Functions

The HR BP will support, and where appropriate lead, the project management of the following activities and processes:

  • Organisational Design

  • Change Programmes and the associated ER processes

  • Performance development and the Year End review process

  • The annual pay round process

  • Resourcing projects

  • People related management information and metrics

  • Central reporting for all HR MI reports including some ad-hoc reporting

Person Specification

  • Bachelors Degree / Equivalent Experience

  • Previous HR Business Partner & Project Management Experience, preferably within Financial Services

  • Change and project management experience

  • Good understanding of all aspects of HR from an operational and transformational perspective

  • Ability to manage high volumes of work, execute flawlessly, and understand HR processes

  • Strong analytical ability, numerate
