My client, a commercial organisation based in Frimley, Surrey are seeking to recruit a Part-Time Reward Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
My client is offering part time flexible hours with this role 3-4 days per week (25 hours per week) This could also be 5 short days and some home working is also offered, so therefore if you are seeking a completely flexible role working for a fantastic brand this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
The Reward Consultant is responsible for contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of the company Reward strategy and related activities.
The key activities include supporting the Head of Centre of Excellence in leading the implementation of compensation, benchmarking and position evaluation processes, supplier management, delivery of policy/process development and providing a centre of expertise for the GB&I zone within the company. The role requires jobholders to lead reward related projects and initiatives and liaise with stakeholders including the Leadership team, HR team, HR Corporate Departments and shared services.
Benchmarking: Responsible for provision of market intelligence including annual pay review guidance to the business.
Pay Review: Coordinate the annual pay review with the HR team, including liaising with shared services as the nominated contact and brief HR Consultants.
Bonus: In liaison with local management teams and regional team coordinate the rollout / preparation, execution for annual bonus and sales incentives schemes including cascade of unit targets and scheme documentation.
Pensions: Responsible for the management of the specific pension processes, which include the end to end management of ill health retirement and death in service processes.
GRIP Level: Responsible for the governance of levelling structure across the business to promote consistency of levelling approach.
M&A: Contribute to discussions on M&A to drive reward practices (including pensions) in line with the organisation reward strategy.
Providing advice and guidance to HR team on specific reward related issues. Contributing to the content of the Reward communications (spotlights) on a regular basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a customer focused reward team or proven experience of delivery and implementation of reward activities.
Significant understanding of Employment legislation and HR policies.
Experience of project management delivery preferred
Demonstrable experience of leading project team preferred
Proven experience of working across diverse teams and businesses that are spread geographically across GB&I.
