HR Business Partner - FMCG manufacturing business - South West London (occasional travel)- £40,000 to £50,000

A global manufacturing company is now looking for a HR Business Partner in their growing South West London offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to to engage with stakeholders of all levels.

Your new role

Your role will predominantly be based in South West London but will also involve occasional travel (approx 1 p/month) to their sites across UK and IRL. Your role is to provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support in relation to HR to employees and managers, promoting enhanced employee performance. You will support Managers on employee relations matters such as staff performance, grievance, disciplinary, capability and manage absence including long term sickness. You will advise management and employees in accordance with legislation and best practice, identifying improvements and training needs. You will also lead and support on HR projects to drive the business objectives and HR strategy including change management process. Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures in line with present legislative updates.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience of providing HR Operational support in a fast paced business, ideally in a similar industry (FMCG and manufacturing). HR-related qualifications (CIPD level 3) and training in UK Labour Law are desirable but not essential. You will have proven experience of generalist HR and strong employment law knowledge managing ER cases and managing change programs (including TUPE). You will have effective communication and excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels with assertive, engaging and professional style. You will have experience of coaching managers as well as challenging managers to drive performance improvement. It is essential that you are prepared to travel regionally on a monthly basis.
