3 day a week Payroll & Benefits Manager

£60,000 - £70,000 FTE City based

This is a rare opportunity for a 3 day a week Payroll and Benefits Manager to join an International Financial Services House based in the City. Supporting the UK workforce and a smaller office in Europe, the role will report into the Head of HR and will oversee monthly payroll, lead on reporting and will manage year end processes. This is a client facing role so the post holder will be a strong communicator and an excellent relationship builder.

Key accountabilities and Skills:

  • Share Awards; maintain records for leavers, new grants and vesting's and process exercises through payroll and prepare statutory reports
  • Risk Benefits; scheme administrator for registered and excepted Life Assurance schemes, managing annual renewals for UK Life and Income Protection schemes
  • Pension; scheme administrator for registered UK pension schemes, managing auto-enrolment processes
  • Management of Private Medical Insurance
  • Excellent knowledge of excel and Microsoft office
  • Solid experience of managing a large and complex UK payroll is essential
  • Knowledge of international payrolls would be an advantage
  • Great communicator who has worked in a client facing role
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, often demanding environment
