This newly created position of HR Advisor provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified HR professional to play a significant role in the further development of the HR function at Stonyhurst.
Providing operational support and acting as the first point of contact for Staff and Managers, the HR Advisor must be knowledgeable across a range of HR topics including Recruitment, Professional Development, Employee Relations and Staff Welfare.
The HR Department provides a cross campus service for Stonyhurst College and Stonyhurst St. Mary’s Hall to staff in a wide range of roles including academic, support, administration, catering, domestic, technical, maintenance, grounds and a variety of on-site trades.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards CIPD qualifications, ideally Level 5 or higher and have experience of working as a Personnel/HR Advisor in a generalist environment in either the private or public sector. Experience of working in an educational setting would be desirable but not essential.
This is a full time, full year post based on 37.5 hours per week but there will be an expectation of some flexibility during particularly busy periods such as peak recruitment times.
