Employee Relations Manager - Shared Service


£180 - £200 per day

6 month assignment

My client are a multinational utilities business, with a hub based in Manchester. Due to internal movement and organisational change, they require an experience ER professional to join the business for a 6 month period.

Working within a shared service environment, duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Giving advice and guidance to support line managers with a wide portfolio of enquiries via telephone

  • People management, policy and decision management

  • Developing and coaching stakeholders

  • Management of absence, disciplinary, grievance, organisational change and TUPE

  • Liaising closely with occupational health providers

  • Drafting settlement agreements

  • Legislative updates

  • Union representation

Experience/Skills required:

  • Previous ER specialist experience, ideally within a shared service environment

  • Experience in coaching and guiding stakeholders on policy and process

  • An understanding of UK employment law and legislation

  • Tenacious and enjoys working in fast-paced environment

  • Organised, with an ability to work independently

  • CIPD or equivalent qualified

This role is a contract, so you will ideally be immediately available.
