We have recently appointed a new CEO and she is looking to build her senior team with a number of key appointments, including a Director of Workforce, who will play a pivotal role in our organisation and journey. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will contribute to a broad corporate portfolio and deliver strategic value to decision making around people matters and provide proactive, business-focused solutions that are data driven. Leading a strong team of HR professionals, you will continue to develop a positive culture for BEH, drive a high level of engagement across our 3,000 workforce and ensure our purpose and values are lived throughout the organisation. You will also significantly contribute to plans that will help transform the NHS workforce for a sustainable future by collaborating widely in our STP.
This is an exciting and challenging role, which requires an exceptional individual with an excellent track record in strategic and operational HR roles. You will be an established senior leader who is accustomed to working with executives and have significant experience of leading complex organisational and workforce change in a multi-professional, multi-stakeholder environment. Your excellent relationship management skills will mean you build credibility quickly and can foster strong alliances both inside the organisation and across a diverse group of external stakeholders. NHS experience is highly desirable, and you must bring a passion for improving our population’s health and well-being.
