Senior Resourcing Specialist

Rate range: £350-400

Location: Staines/Aberdeen

Duraton: 6-9 months

I am currently partnering with a global utilities business urgently seeking a Senior Resourcing Specialist to lead on a high profile transition to a new resourcing structure, strategy and execution.

Duties will include designing new:

  • Planning & Reporting

  • Attraction

  • Selection

  • Onboarding

  • Employment contract changes

  • Resourcing delivery as directed

  • Ad-hoc projects

Person specification:

  • High level of credibility with a range of key stakeholders both internal and external to the business, with the ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels

  • Able to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

  • Multitask across several different projects

  • Strong resourcing "know-how" including specific recruitment channels, supplier capability and advanced candidate assessment and selection techniques

  • Digitally savvy with an understanding of how to use Social Media to enhance EVP and candidate engagement

  • Excellent understanding of the wider business, the competitive environment and the resourcing strategy

  • Experience delivering resourcing project across the UK and, where necessary, international recruitment market

  • Ability to understand the resourcing needs of the functions/business units making valid selection decisions.

  • Expert knowledge of recruitment related employment law in the UK and, where necessary, internationally.

  • Degree or equivalent experience

  • Significant experience of working in a resourcing function delivering a wide range of hires across multiple disciplines up to middle to senior management

  • Experience of managing multiple resourcing projects and/or campaigns at once

  • Managed client/ candidate and third party source relationships in a resourcing context

  • Experience partnering all levels in business, constructively challenging business decisions through tactical questioning and commercial savvy

  • Experience of working in a highly matrixed environment

  • Experience of designing and delivering appropriate selection and assessment solutions across multiple levels and disciplines

  • Experience of managing challenging projects and conversations effectively.
