Temporary Training & Development job based in Bolton paying up to £20,000.

Your New Company
Your new company is a well-known organisation who are seeking a temporary Training & Development Coordinator to join their team.

Your New Role
Your new role is a temporary position, with a number of different duties, including but not limited to:

  • Conduct probationary meetings at 4, 8 and 12 weeks and ensure the outcome of probationary period is communicated to the employee. Feedback outcomes to the HR Manager and ensure training needs are met.
  • Undertake reviews of the shop floor training records and documentation and ensure the paperwork is kept in the agreed place.
  • Assist in the recruitment and interview process, as delegated, including contacting recruitment agencies, arranging interviews and informing agencies of offers and rejections.
  • Measure the value added of employee training and development by means of evaluation questionnaires and follow up meetings.
  • Support Apprentices within the company, ensuring they are developing within their apprenticeship framework as expected and escalate any issues to the HR Manager.
  • Assist with HR administration when required and ensure HR and company procedures are adhered to. E.g. bi-annual driving licence checks, DBS checks etc.
  • Schedule and document the outcome of probationary reviews, exit interviews and other adhoc meetings as and when required, escalating issues and reporting back to the HR Manager upon completion.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To succeed, you will need previous HR or training and development experience in a fast paced administration role. You will have had exposure to admin duties. You must be a confident communicator and able to build rapport with your colleagues. You must be able to prioritise effectively due to the high volume of work, and you must be a down-to-earth team player. You must be educated to a good standard, efficient and productive.
