Your new role
This exciting new opportunity for an employee relations specialist to join an established ER team in central Birmingham. The team are responsible for providing specialist advice and guidance to the business on employee relations queries and cases. This role will be managing complex, challenging and often sensitive employee relations cases. This will include work up to dismissal and also tribunal cases. You will work in collaboration with line managers and trade union representatives to ensure the organisation are continually improving the management of ER cases.
The role is a fixed term contract for 14 months.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a highly credible HR professional with in depth employee relations experience and expert employment law knowledge. Previous experience of tribunal cases and working with trade unions is essential and candidates must be CIPD qualified.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £40,000 to £44,000 plus excellent benefits.
