Account Manager - RPO - Financial Services

An experienced RPO recruitment manager is required for a maternity cover contract, onsite at one of the flagship accounts of a well known RPO. You will have oversight of a large team of recruiters, both temp and perm, and directly manage 5 team leaders but also initially have a strong projects focus.


  • Oversight of all day to day activity for the recruitment of temporary or permanent staff

  • Advising on recruitment strategy and sourcing techniques for all temporary and permanent roles

  • Advising on market trends and skills

  • Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance

  • Various in-depth reporting - financial, headcount, HR and vendor performance where appropriate

  • Escalation of HR / recruitment issues

  • Ensuring full compliance with the Service Level Agreement

  • Providing strategic partnership with key stakeholders and sponsors, ensure ng they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments

  • Consulting, influencing and guiding hiring managers on decisions

  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial terms

  • Managing offer process - including providing up to date salary/rate and market information, and comparison data from recent hires in the business area

  • Bi-annual performance reviews, including objective setting and bonus allocations

  • Individual staff development, including cross skill training


  • Previous experience working in an RPO model ideally within a financial services client

  • Combination of general RPO experience and previous in house FS experience considered for experienced Account Managers

  • Experience of large scale / volume recruitment and of managing team leader / manager level individuals

  • Experience of delivering process improvement projects in complex environments

  • Very bottom-line orientated; able to push self and others for results
