All aspects of planning and execution for the performance management and career development activity for all Analysts and MBAs on the programme in the UK,
Global oversight of the Global Banking analyst population.
Annual review and revision of all line manager and graduate guides and materials - relating to amongst others, the global induction programme, Rotation Management, Annual Compensation Review and Off Programme Placements
Conduct annual global review of the graduate programme and work in partnership with Business and HR Heads to globally implement any enhancements.
Provide global direction and governance on rotation planning and allocations
Liaise daily with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and resourcing implications and manage placements in line with this.
Manage the permanent placement process of analysts into the business globally.
Drive regular graduate committee meetings with senior business stakeholders to gain endorsement on annual revisions to strategy and approach
Ensure consistent, best practice approach in how analysts are managed in regards to poor performance, disciplinaries and breaches to regulatory rules .
Manage the analyst compensation review with the Generalist teams.
Responsible for the review, design, planning and execution of the Global Analyst Induction Programme for the relevant analyst population, including ensuring seamless execution of all logistics
Work in partnership with Analyst Recruiters to manage the annual process for determining global hiring demand and gaining Business and HR Head sign off on headcount and costs.
Support wider global graduate recruitment and development and retention/talent initiatives / projects in line with business needs.
Attend campus events as required
Proven graduate development experience (ideally within a global financial services environment)
Experience partnering an investment banking population either in a specialist graduate development capacity or possibly in a dual recruitment and development role; or, as an L&D partner
Previous generalist experience would be a distinct advantage
Previous programme management experience
Good understanding of performance management processes and frameworks
Proactive approach, able to work with minimal supervision
Strong track record of influencing, engagement and stakeholder management skills, be able to drive through to delivery
Experience of HR systems / databases
