HR Assistant - Chelmsford

An international Law firm are recruiting for an HR Assistant - Recruitment to join their Chelmsford based team. Working with and supporting the Recruitment function this role will provide support with co-ordinating the recruitment process for business services staff alongside the lateral recruitment team.

As the HR Assistant - Recruitment, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Delivering an excellent, proactive professional recruitment service to the Firm to attract and recruit high calibre talent
  • Assisting in the management of the recruitment cycle alongside the HR Advisor
  • Assisting with Fee Earner recruitment as required
  • Representing the recruitment function within the wider HR department, participating in meetings as required
  • Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and those involved in recruitment
  • Taking job briefings from internal stakeholders and demonstrating in-depth understanding of practice areas and business
  • Attending interviews as and when required
  • Producing and analysing management information as required
  • Delivering recruitment specific projects
  • Helping to manage the PSL for agencies
  • Assisting the wider recruitment team to provide ongoing benchmarking and market awareness
  • To provide cover for HR Advisors

As the HR Assistant - Recruitment, you will possess:

  • Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency) within a professional services environment
  • Experience of recruiting a high volume of roles and ability to cope with the pressure of delivering a high volume of roles within tight deadlines
  • Highly professional manner
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
