Early Careers Business Partner

A fabulous opportunity for a bright individual who has experience of working within the early careers space. One of the leading business services clients are looking for an Early Career Business Partner to join their team at a really exciting time. The role reports to the L&D manager and the main purpose of this role is to develop and execute Early Career pathways which will play significant role within the talent acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation of the emerging talent strategy
  • Lead design, development and recruitment of early careers programmes
  • Design, development, and management of both group and local programmes, interventions and initiatives
  • Develop early careers policies and procedures
  • Develop external relationships with schools, colleges, universities etc
  • Main point of contact for all early careers interventions and 3rd party relationships
  • Own and manage the business apprenticeship levy exposure
  • Build and implement programmes which will maximises appropriate use of the Apprenticeship Levy
  • Build engagement programmes for all new hires
  • Work with senior leadership teams
  • Project work on-going
  • Drive early careers activities and best practice


  • Proven experience in the implementation of Early Careers programmes and planning
  • Previous experience of building and running campus hiring programs
  • Track record of success in management of a project/program office or multiple simultaneous enterprise initiatives
  • A strong communicator and influencer who can work with our leaders and internal stakeholders to effectively manage hiring demand and ultimately support the scaling and growth of our business
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate, to anticipate constraints and identify optimisation or alternative solutions
  • A record of successful delivery of programs from conception through to ongoing management
  • Independent problem solver that can set priorities, make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organisational skills
  • Delivers added value and innovation through input to the revision of service approaches and supporting and informing process improvement
  • Confident to challenge the status quo and improve processes and customer experience
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages and working within a corporate office environment
