Payroll Specialist - 18 Month contract - Banking - Cannon St
My client is a leading name within financial services.
They are currently in pursuit of a Payroll Specialist to join their business on an 18 month contract.
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must have -
solid payroll administrative experience - ideally within financial services
excellent communication and time management skills
ability to work with a sence of urgency and high level of initiative
intermediate to advanced Excel
Exposure to PeopleSoft and/or Workday will be highly regarded, but not essential.
This role will involve -
payroll input of new hires, leavers, leave of absence, overtime, tax forms, bonuses, SAYE, GAYE, court orders, flexible benefits
calculation of statutory deductions including Tax, NIC, SMP, SPP, SSP, SPL
calculation of pro rata salary payments/deductions, per diems, holiday pay, part time adjustments
dealing with employee queries, paper payslips
assisting with month end processes including finance GL file, distribution of payslips and employee correspondence
providing general administrative support to the Reward team
