My client are a Fintech business based in the City - they provide tech products and services that underpin the entire trade lifecycle. Due to a period of growth, they require a driven HR assistant to join them on an initial 6 month FTC basis. There is an opportunity for the role to go permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting into the Head of HR Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the whole employee lifecycle on an administrative level.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Raising new hire requisitions in Workday

  • Provide admin support to ensure a smooth starter/leaver process

  • Prepare contracts, new starter packs and creation of new employee files

  • Conduct pre-employment background checks

  • Managing new starter onboarding process

  • Managing probation period and issue the relevant paperwork

  • Owning the administration for the contingent worker population

  • Prepare requisitions for approval within Workday for any contractual changes

  • Prepare and issue any other documentation needed for the end to end employee lifecycle

  • Prepare redundancy calculations as required

  • Managing the mat/pat processes and documentation

  • Assist with the production of reports

  • Participate in specific projects to improve processes and practises

  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives

  • General adhoc duties

Experience/skills:

  • Previous HR admin/assistant level experience is required

  • Knowledge of the whole end to end employee lifecycle

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Results orientated

  • Proactive and able to multi task

As this is an FTC, you must be available immediately or on short notice to be considered.
