Talent & Development Assistant

A leading Global Law firm are looking for a Learning & Development Assistant to join the team. This role will sit within HR and will involve advising colleagues about the programmes and development issues along with ad hoc project work. As the Talent & Development Assistant, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Supporting the Senior Managers on a number of programmes, involving some responsibility for the design, content, faculty and delivery of these programmes
  • Managing the relationship with relevant members of Training Events team to ensure effective organisation, delivery and follow up of all programmes
  • Taking a role in the design and delivery of eLearning as either stand-alone learning or in support of a blended approach to development programmes
  • Supporting other members of the team in designing the content and materials, briefing and managing relationships with external providers, working with the Training Events team to oversee logistics
  • Building relationships across the global network with key stakeholders and line colleagues to cover key information
  • Creating and maintaining key documents, materials etc
  • Supporting the identification and selection of training providers to ensure they are of quality
  • Working with internal experts to develop content
  • Delivering value for money on all programmes
