Reward Advisor

The role

I am supporting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Reward Advisor to join the team, located in the City Centre office in Birmingham on a permanent basis. I am looking for a candidate with extensive experience within reward who is able to demonstrate excellent consulting, facilitation, and advisory skills.

Day to day

* Support the effective design of reward strategy
* Develop reward policies and amendments, understanding how these policies align to HR and business strategy
* Support the design, assessment and execution of executive reward offerings
* Support the design and development of pensions and benefits plans
* Actively pursue an understanding of pay trends, both nationally and regionally, and within relevant sectors
* Ensure regulatory and audit compliance regarding reward programmes and policies
* Act as the escalation point for complex reward queries or issues from HR Operational Services
* Contribute to job grading and evaluation

About you

* Extensive reward experience including pay, benefits, pension, job evaluation, and executive compensation
* Proven experience in developing and evolving an organisation that interfaces with employees, vendors, HR business owners, unions and technology
* Effective communication skills to liaise and collaborate with business partners and the business to provide specialised advice and programmes including collecting input for design and delivery of reward programmes
* Evidence of understanding of industry best practice and market trends
* Proven experience in areas of technical capabilities
* Experience of working in both public and private sectors
